Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide interventions for children and adults living with a range of disabilities, including those with complex needs.
  • NDIS Services: Work within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to maximize clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement.
  • Assistive Technology: Assist clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications, as required.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation and report writing.
  • Caseload Management: Manage a varied caseload, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development, including meetings, supervision, and personal development opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Registration: Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g., AHPRA).
  • Screening Checks: Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check (if applicable).
  • Insurance: Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
  • Other: Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption), drivers' license, and access to a reliable vehicle.
