The Clinical Care Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager to create and maintain an environment where residents feel valued, respected, and their individual needs are met.
About The PositionThis leadership role involves guiding the Clinical Care team, ensuring they understand each resident's identity, culture, diversity, beliefs, and life experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical guidance and support to the Home Manager.
- Supporting care delivery through coaching the Care Team.
- Driving quality and clinical improvement projects at a Care Home level.
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with full registration.
- Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Infection Control protocols.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior management position within the aged care sector with a proven track record.
- Quality Assurance Certificate or equivalent experience with evidence of outcomes.
- Proven ability in quality management using a collaborative approach through mentoring and staff development.
- High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness with strong accountability.
- A driven change leader with a personal value of continuous improvement.
