The Opportunity:
We're seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our Transport Advisory team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you'll provide expert advice on traffic engineering, land use/transport integration, and approval processes. You'll work closely with our experienced Director of Transport Advisory and contribute to supporting employee growth and development.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced traffic engineering and management principles, including advice on land use/transport planning, transport network design, and due diligence assessments.
- Support the delivery of strategic transport advisory projects and national initiatives.
- Provide technical and management support to the Transport Advisory team.
- Proactively identify opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines and business units.
- Generate new work and profitable business performance through client relationships.
- Nurture and develop individual staff members through coaching and mentoring.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in a consultancy environment, preferably in Queensland.
- Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
- Proven track record of delivering and managing transport projects.
