As a Cloud Support Engineer with AWS, you will be at the forefront of this technology, assisting customers globally and helping them get the most out of their cloud investment.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Cloud Support Engineer. In this role, you will act as the 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products, arming our customers with the tools and tactics they need to succeed.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Learning and using groundbreaking technologies
  • Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customer needs
  • Interacting with leading engineers around the world
  • Partnering with AWS teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Leveraging your extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams
  • Driving customer communication during critical events
  • Driving projects that improve support-related processes and customer technical support experience

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Exposure to streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Rabbit MQ)
  • Log analysis and general troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Elastic Stack (Elastic, Logstash, Beats, Kibana, Fluentd etc) and knowledge of Opensearch APIs
  • Experience with System Administration and troubleshooting with Linux and/or Microsoft Windows Server
  • Experience with Networking and troubleshooting concepts
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field OR equivalent experience in a technical position
Salary Estimate

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
