Speech Language Pathology Position

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based speech language pathology services to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contemporary speech language pathology and experience working with students in a school setting.
  • You will work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to identify and implement strategies to support students with communication difficulties.
  • As part of our dedicated team, you will participate in planning and management of student behaviour, with the aim of preventing restrictive practices.
  • In addition, you will provide training and support to other Speech Language Pathologists to build capacity and promote best practice in service delivery.

Requirements

  • A strong academic record and relevant qualifications in speech language pathology.
  • Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents and other stakeholders.
