Job Description

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our team, supporting clients to live independently and participate in their communities.

You will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Support clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Assist clients with mobility, communication, and other functional needs
  • Encourage clients to participate in community activities and promote social inclusion
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Certificate III or higher in a relevant field of support work desirable
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy laws
  • Current Blue Card and NDIS Screening/ Yellow Card, First Aid and CPR Certificate, Driver's Licence, and Reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
