Electrical Design Professional

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia.
  • Heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design expertise, including reviewing and marking up technical drawings and providing construction and commissioning support.
  • Project documentation preparation and maintenance, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work.
  • SITE EXPERIENCE IN INVESTIGATIONS, SCOPING, COMMISSIONING, AND CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required for this position, with good communication skills essential for regular client interaction.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in the design and specification of electrical and instrumentation equipment for hazardous areas and functional safety lifecycle documentations specifically the development of LOPA method from the process safety standard.

Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards and regulations is also required. Additionally, experience conducting early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems, including proficiency in electrical system calculations, would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and technical skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams, oversee and coordinate the work of junior engineers and designers, provide technical guidance and support, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
