Job Opportunity: Field Maintenance Officer

This is a full-time position to support critical infrastructure and deliver essential services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain water and sewer assets to ensure reliable services.
  • Provide exceptional field-based experience and customer care during service disruptions.
  • Record and report service updates and maintenance actions using our system.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and organisational policies.
  • Continuously improve processes and contribute ideas to enhance operations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external providers.

We offer two specific Field Maintenance Officer role types - Water and Sewer - each contributing to the reliable delivery of core services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills to resolve inquiries effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Experience in practical, hands-on work in operational environments within utilities or similar industries.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • A strong commitment to safety and a positive work culture.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Cert III in Network Operations (desirable).
  • Licenses like First Aid, Confined Space, or Forklift certification (preferred).
  • Manual driver's licence desirable (HR licence highly regarded).
  • Australian Drivers Licence required.
