We are seeking an experienced Insurance Business Developer to join our team in Melbourne. As a Casualty Underwriter, you will be responsible for developing relationships with allocated brokers and existing/new clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing relationships with allocated brokers and existing/new clients.
- Reviewing renewal and new business submissions, including interpretation of questionnaires, policy wordings, inspection reports, loss runs, and financial reports.
- Calculating appropriate risk premiums using recognized Company rating tools.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the insurance industry and specific Casualty products. You will also possess excellent analytical skills, visualizing, gathering information, articulating, analyzing, and solving complex problems to create workable business decision proposals.
You will be part of a dynamic team that combines a comprehensive capital platform, data-driven insights, leading technology, and the best talent to deliver top client service across all our lines of business.
