Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Calculated Solutions. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and building strong client relationships, leading complex client meetings, and managing your own performance to ensure productivity targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and understanding their unique needs.
  • Lead complex client meetings, identifying risks, business development, and additional service opportunities.
  • Manage your own performance, ensuring productivity targets are met and write-offs are minimized.
  • Manage work in progress and billing, ensuring timely invoicing and maintaining WIP days below 20.
  • Delegate work to team members, review their work, and ensure client satisfaction and deadlines are met.
  • Promote, prepare, and deliver additional services to clients when required.
  • Manage debtors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop your accounting knowledge and expertise through on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, with a track record of managing client relationships and delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing workflow issues.
  • Ability to manage your own workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to personal and technical development, seeking regular feedback and actioning accordingly.
