Job Summary

A skilled tiler is required to work with various types of tiles, including travertine, porcelain, limestone, ceramic and mosaic.

Responsibilities
  • Lay tiles according to customer specifications and patterns
  • Measure, mark and arrange the tiles for proper placement
  • Apply adhesive to the prepared areas and secure tiles in place
  • Cut tiles to the required sizes using relevant tools
  • Install waterproofing systems on designated surfaces if necessary
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Wall and Floor Tiling or Certificate III with on-the-job training or 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a skilled wall and floor tiler
  • Practical skills, attention to detail and ability to follow design plans
