Job Description

About this role: The Internal Audit Manager leads reviews in accordance with the Internal Audit Plan and supports the Head of Internal Audit in achieving the strategy. This includes leading and delivering risk-based audits, including scoping, execution, and delivery of assignments. The Internal Audit Manager will work with senior stakeholders and support the Head of Audit in reporting to Board Audit Committees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver risk-based audits
  • Work with senior stakeholders
  • Support the Head of Audit in reporting to Board Audit Committees

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7 years' experience in a similar role within the financial or professional services industry
  • Effective leadership skills, including people development, team leadership, and motivation
  • Substantial auditing experience, including financial services and knowledge of risk management frameworks and standards
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills for Board and Executive level stakeholders
  • A degree qualification in accounting, finance, IT, or a related field
  • Relevant qualifications from professional bodies such as CPA, CA, CIA, or IIA
