Senior Statistical Programmer I Role

The key responsibilities for this role include the production of clinical study reports, requiring expertise in clinical programming and contribution to the development of Avance procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of listings, tables, and figures for clinical study reports, along with creation of primary and QC SAS programs for CDISC datasets and associated documentation.
  • Support with the preparation of statistical analysis plans, including review and preparation of listing, table, and figure shells, as well as randomization schedules.
  • Liaising with Data Management teams and bioanalytical laboratories regarding data transfer.
  • Maintaining and coordinating CDISC standards, ensuring maximum reuse of applied standards, and involvement in ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Staying current with the evolution of all CDISC standards and being involved in the creation and maintenance of process documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ordinary degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Statistical programming within pharmaceutical or health research environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CDISC principles and SDTM conversion experience.
  • Experience with the development, documentation, and testing of analysis data and programming code to meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Formal training in SAS programming is desirable.
  • Familiarity with ICH GCP Guidelines, medical terminology, and clinical trials processes.
  • Excellent MS Word and Excel skills are required.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated initiative, trust, and reliability, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
