Senior Corporate Tax Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Tax Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading complex corporate tax matters and managing a team of professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian corporate tax legislation and a proven track record of delivering technically sound outcomes. You will work closely with partners and senior leadership to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of corporate tax compliance, tax effect accounting and tax notes.

  • Manage and review corporate income tax compliance, including income tax returns and tax consolidations.
  • Oversee and review Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) compliance, including return preparation and ad hoc advisory work.
  • Provide expert tax advisory on corporate restructures, international tax matters and employee share schemes.
  • Review tax effect accounting calculations and prepare tax notes for our listed and large private client base.
  • Lead client engagements and coordinate teams to ensure work is delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.

You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members, contributing to their professional development and engagement. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to build efficiency within the team and the practice, and will be committed to exceptional client service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field such as commerce or business.
  • Completed a CA or CPA qualification.
  • At least 4+ years of experience in corporate tax within a professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of Australian corporate tax legislation.
  • Proven track record of delivering technically sound outcomes.
