About the Role:

The Storeperson will play a crucial role in providing support to our Food and Beverage Control Officers and other catering team members. Key responsibilities include general cleaning duties, store duties, provisioning and de-provisioning of train services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake general duties involving food and beverage
  • Control and receive stock including assessing incoming goods for quality while ensuring best practice in storing goods including stock rotation
  • Assist with the de-provision and provision of supplies for all long-distance trains on arrival / departure
  • Undertake general errand and other duties requested as required
  • Provide a high quality of customer service

About You:

You will be a resilient and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In addition to this, you will have:

  • Sound ability in providing a quality customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Previous experience and a sound skill in handling food and beverages
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a range of different tasks
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

Requirements:

  • Food Safety – use hygienic practices for food safety
  • Hold a current 'C' class drivers licence. If you currently hold an MR licence it would be highly desirable for the role but not essential
