Research Fellow in Cliometrics and Quantitative Economic History

We are seeking a highly skilled research professional to join our team at UNSW. The successful candidate will carry out independent and/or collaborative research within the field of Cliometrics and Quantitative Economic History.
About the RoleA Research Fellow is expected to:
- Conduct original and impactful research within the field of Cliometrics and Quantitative Economic History;
- Develop expertise in research methodologies relevant to their field of study;
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications;
- Collaborate with other researchers and academic staff within the School of Economics;
- Communicate research findings through publications, presentations, and conferences.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A PhD in a related discipline such as economics or history;
- A proven commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in your field;
- Demonstrated excellence in research with outcomes of high quality and impact;
- Evidence of the desire and ability to achieve research excellence and leadership;
- A track record of significant involvement in the profession and industry;
- High-level communication skills and ability to network effectively with diverse stakeholders.
