After School Caregiver Job

The ideal caregiver will be responsible for caring for three children aged 4, 9, and 11 years after school. This includes:

  • Caring for the children's physical and emotional needs
  • Transporting the children to their afternoon activities
  • Providing fun, creative, and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities when they are at home

Key Responsibilities

  • To care for the children
  • Follow the children's routines
  • Play and engage with the children
  • School pick up (using a family vehicle if required)
  • Take the children to activities, i.e. organised sports, playground, walks and to the park/playgrounds etc.
  • Light household duties – tidying up after playing with children

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in childcare or as a nanny
  • Current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Strong communication skills and ability to speak English
  • Fully vaccinated and able to provide proof
  • A full driver's license and clean driving record
  • Cooking is appreciated but not required
  • German speaking is a bonus
  • Confident swimming is a bonus
