Culinary Team Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment at one of Western Australia's premier thoroughbred racing clubs.
We are seeking experienced Senior Chefs de Partie to work across Functions and Kitchen outlets for the Ascot Racing Carnival. They will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to a high standard in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a high standard of personal presentation, following OSH standards and facilitating safety procedures, working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have restaurant chef experience, working well in a high-energy environment. They will have a passion for attention to detail, embodying core values such as Integrity and Transparency, Leadership and Empowerment, Innovation and Excellence, Safety and Sustainability, and Engagement and Understanding.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals to a high standard in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
- Follow OSH standards and facilitate safety procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Relevant experience in reputable venues
- Meat, Fish and Poultry preparation experience highly desirable
- Completed commercial cookery Certificate 4 or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of fast-paced kitchen environments
- Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday day shifts
