Lead and Manage Our Childcare Services

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Childcare Cluster Director to lead and manage our childcare services, ensuring the delivery of exceptional educational programs for children aged 0 to 12.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage our childcare services, developing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of our children and families.
  • Drive the advancement of our curriculum and educational strategies, ensuring we remain at the forefront of early childhood education.
  • Undertake the role of Nominated Supervisor, guiding and supporting your team to deliver high-quality care and education.
  • Oversee budget management, ensuring financial efficiency and effectiveness in our childcare services.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment through strong leadership and staff management.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain and enhance service quality, ensuring we meet the needs of our children and families.

What We Are Looking For

  • A Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or a Tertiary Qualification in Early Childhood Education.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Child Protection Certificate or a commitment to obtaining one.
  • In-depth knowledge of The National Quality Standards and contemporary curriculum frameworks.
  • Familiarity with The Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Current First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Training.

Commencing Hourly Rate: $96,174.00 - $111,325.00 +11.5% superannuation

We are a local government provider in NSW, committed to enriching the lives of families and children through our childcare services. We offer various childcare services, including Long Day Care, Vacation and Out of School Hours Care, Preschools, and a Mobile Playvan.

This position has been identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply, you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.
