About the Role

The Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria is seeking a Knowledge Management Solicitor to join their team. As a key member of the Corporate Services branch, you will be responsible for partnering with legal branches to capture and manage legal knowledge, promoting effective use of the VGSO knowledge management system, and driving a knowledge sharing culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop processes and procedures to integrate contemporary knowledge management with business operations
  • Capture, edit, publish, and share legal knowledge via the VGSO knowledge management system
  • Undertake legal research and analysis, where required
  • Provide New Starter Induction training and act as the first point of contact for knowledge management enquiries
  • Implement change management processes and approaches to guide staff through organizational change
  • Contribute to the development of the knowledge management function and facilitate a knowledge sharing culture
