Job Description:

Coles Group Manufacturing seeks a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead and manage our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in a production supervisor or team leader role in a food or fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading high-performing teams and driving business results. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and controlling the manufacturing processes, leading and coaching team members, and managing resources to optimise production.

We are looking for someone with excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Your knowledge of food processing industry and food safety practices such as HACCP and GMP principles is essential. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of high-speed automatic food packaging machinery and experience in production planning, stock control, and resourcing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage high-performing teams to achieve business results
  • Coordinate and control manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and quality
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on production, quality, and inventory
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues

The successful candidate will have a degree qualification in Engineering/Food Technology (or equivalent) and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
