Remote Maintenance Technician

We have a variety of permanent positions available in Dysart and the Galilee Basin for qualified Heavy/Light Vehicle Mechanics. Our ideal candidate will maintain mobile plant units (MPUs) and ancillary equipment, provide site-based assistance with breakdowns, diagnostics, and fault finding, work independently or as part of a team, and be willing to work in remote locations.
The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our MPUs and other equipment, providing technical support to colleagues, and collaborating with the maintenance team to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of MPUs and ancillary mobile and fixed equipment
- Site-based assistance with breakdowns, diagnostics, and fault finding
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Will to work in remote locations
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Previous experience in maintaining MPUs or HR vehicles
- Current Queensland Explosives Security Clearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical fitness
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems and relevant computer software
