About the Program & Role:

The AIR6500 program is a joint air battle management system that synchronizes air and missile defense operations in joint and coalition environments, maximizing situational awareness and enhancing decision-making speed across the battlespace.

As a Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for specific engineering and technology (E&T) technical and programmatic performance responsibilities for the delivery of an allocated Materiel Release (MR) as part of the program agile cadence.

  • Provide timely and accurate resource requirements such as people/skills, tools, infrastructure to Centre of Excellence leads together with program discipline leads.
  • Work with first and second-line functional leaders to identify program team staffing.
  • Provide E&T program team recognition and stakeholder performance feedback.
  • Support the mentoring and career development of program team members.
  • Proactively communicate with all constituents.
  • Accountable for E&T technical, cost, and schedule performance on the program.

You will also ensure the establishment and tracking of key Technical Performance Measures (TPMs), monitor program performance including earned value management and technical progress measures, and ensure technical integrity of program products.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in C4ISR, including comms – datalinks and voice, electronic warfare, integrated air & missile defense, sensors – active/passive.

You will also need expert experience in system of systems integration programs, engineering management within a Defense engineering and regulatory framework, and management of technical risk.
