Join Our Team as a Qualified Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Educator to join our team at YMCA WA. As a key member of our Early Learning Centre, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our children.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a purpose-built Early Learning Centre, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our children and families. As a Qualified Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality programs that meet the needs of our children
  • Work collaboratively with a close-knit team of educators to ensure a safe and inspiring environment
  • Maintain high standards of compliance and ensure the centre meets all regulatory requirements
  • Engage with children and families to build strong relationships and promote a sense of community
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive centre culture
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
  • HLTAID012 First Aid certificate or equivalent
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012
  • Previous experience in children's services, developing and implementing programs for 0-to-5-year-olds
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
