Job Description

As a Trading and Portfolio Management Lead, you will play a pivotal role in setting up and leading the energy portfolio and risk management function. You will be responsible for developing and implementing short- and long-term forecasting models for energy prices and demand, optimizing energy demand with trading decisions to ensure optimal profitability.

Key responsibilities include ensuring correct pricing and consumer load forecasting, providing key performance insights to local and regional management, assessing and managing various risks associated with the portfolio, such as regulatory changes, market fluctuations, and technology advancements.

Requirements
  • Relevant education in finance or technical field.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian energy market, preferably gas, electricity, and renewables markets.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with ability to perform in a lean and fast-paced environment.
