As a social visitor, you will have the chance to learn about diverse cultures, traditions, and experiences. Our volunteer opportunities allow you to visit seniors in their homes, fostering connections and sharing stories.

Visiting Seniors

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to visiting seniors at least once a week for an hour. This could be as simple as enjoying a cup of tea together or engaging in activities that bring joy to both parties.

The opportunity is available across NSW, ACT, SA, and Victoria. Regular visits can help combat loneliness and isolation, promoting a sense of community and connection.

Our mission is to enhance the lives of elderly people through volunteer partnerships. We are passionate about providing support and companionship to those who need it most.

Requirements
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by us
  • Be available to visit seniors at least once a week for an hour

Visits can be weekly or fortnightly, depending on your availability. We would be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a 30-minute visit between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday.
