We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Designer to join our team and lead innovation in design technologies, including AI tools. The role can be based either at our Mordialloc (Victoria) or Newcastle (New South Wales) office. This is a permanent full-time position for someone who wants to contribute technically while leading innovation in design.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil design, especially in mining infrastructure, with strong proficiency in Autodesk AEC Collection tools, particularly Civil 3D and AutoCAD. They will also be familiar with QGIS, Global Mapper, Civil Site Design and Muk3D, with the ability to work with AI-powered design tools and scripting.
Requirements- Civil Design Expertise: Extensive experience in civil design, especially in mining infrastructure, with a focus on dams, earthworks, stormwater, roads, landfills, and cover systems.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Autodesk AEC Collection tools, particularly Civil 3D and AutoCAD, as well as familiarity with QGIS, Global Mapper, Civil Site Design, and Muk3D.
- AI and Automation: Experience or strong interest in AI-powered design tools and scripting, including Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper, and ChatGPT workflows.
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, solutions-oriented mindset, collaborative approach, and strong communication skills.
