Senior Manager, Business Continuity Management

Cuscal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Business Continuity Management to join our Group Risk and Compliance Team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and embedment of our Business Continuity Management Framework, ensuring compliance with APRA Standards (CPS 230 & 232) across Cuscal.
Key Responsibilities- Embed an effective and compliant Business Continuity Management Framework, methodology, processes, and tools for Cuscal.
- Monitor the implementation and assess the effectiveness of Business Continuity Management.
- Implement and embed initiatives to ensure sustainable Business Continuity Management practices, including providing information, training, advice, and tools to 1st line teams.
- Monitor and follow up on business continuity-related incidents, issues, and remediation actions with accountable persons.
- Undertake business impact analyses to identify critical operations, recovery objectives, and implementation strategies.
- Develop and maintain a business continuity plan, periodic testing of the plan, and awareness training for staff on business continuity management.
- Report on the effectiveness of Business Continuity Management based on standard SLAs.
- Embed a second-line assurance and monitoring program for Business Continuity Management to identify risk themes and control weaknesses to inform senior management risk-based decisions and remediation.
To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business, management, finance, or related discipline. Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity Management in the financial services sector, banking, including the embedment of effective frameworks.
- Sound knowledge of APRA prudential standards that involve Business Continuity Planning and operational resilience.
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to build effective workplace relationships.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and demonstrate sound judgment.
- Proven experience of providing proactive risk management and compliance input to assist in commercial dealings.
