The Medicines Supply Leader is a key position within our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing the efficient management of medicines across various areas.
This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of pharmacy operations and procedures.
The successful candidate will be able to coordinate staff resources, provide training and development opportunities, and undertake purchasing and inventory management duties with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and guiding staff in their roles and responsibilities
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure optimal workflow
- Coordinating and managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Providing training and support to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements for this position include:
- Possession of relevant qualifications such as Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance (Hospital and Community Health Pharmacy Assistance) from a recognized education institution; or
- Possession of an Associate Diploma from a recognized educational institution, or an equivalent qualification that is relevant to the work of a pharmacy technician
