About the Role

The Cardiac Service Line Director position is a key leadership role that involves overseeing the development and implementation of strategic projects to drive growth and innovation in cardiac services.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and opportunities for Ramsay Health Care.
  • Lead the development of the cardiac service line strategy, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of key strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Represent Ramsay Health Care's interests and build strong partnerships with external organizations, such as research institutions and third-sector partners.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience in a complex healthcare environment, with a deep understanding of private healthcare and cardiac services in Australia.
  • Strong program leadership capability, with a track record of innovative thinking, effective problem-solving, and balancing present and future priorities.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic, rapidly changing, and ambiguous environments.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing and delivering complex programs of work.
  • Skillful in facilitating cross-functional teams and coordinating across business groups, with the ability to positively influence diverse stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, complemented by strong presentation and public speaking abilities.

  • Experience in health service design and implementation.
  • In-depth understanding of clinical trends in cardiac care, particularly within the private sector.
