Job Description:

Deutsche Bank's Credit Risk Management team in Sydney is responsible for managing credit risk on behalf of the bank in Australia and New Zealand. The team oversees a broad mix of corporate and financial institution (FI) counterparties across various products, including commercial loans, derivatives, and other structured transactions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing both counterparty types and developing strategies to mitigate risks. This includes reviewing credit proposals, recommending/approving transactions, and negotiating credit-related documentation.

Key responsibilities will also include managing a loan portfolio consisting of financing investment-grade and sub-investment-grade corporates, as well as commercial real estate lending. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of credit risk management principles.
