Cloud Security Expert Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and spearhead the implementation of Microsoft Sentinel across our environments.
About the Role
- You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and continuously improving Microsoft Sentinel, ensuring seamless integration with our cloud infrastructure.
- Your expertise in log ingestion, parsing, and enrichment will enable us to maximize visibility and threat detection coverage.
- You will develop KQL-based analytics rules, workbooks, playbooks, and automation workflows to enhance our security posture.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure telemetry is captured, enriched, and actionable.
- As a subject matter expert, you will provide strategic guidance on data normalisation, enrichment, and threat modelling within Sentinel.
- You will identify risks and vulnerabilities in technical solutions and recommend appropriate controls or mitigations.
- You will effectively communicate the purpose and operation of security controls to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to drive remediation of security gaps identified via Sentinel analytics and threat hunting. You will ensure cloud infrastructure is securely configured and monitored using Sentinel and integrated tools.
Requirements- Proven experience in cloud security engineering with a strong focus on Microsoft Sentinel.
- Expertise in log ingestion, parsing, and enrichment.
- KQL-based rule development and alerting.
- Integration with Microsoft Defender and other security platforms.
- Automation using Logic Apps and Sentinel playbooks.
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles in Azure and AWS.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and threat detection tooling.
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting telemetry and identifying threats.
