Technical Service Manager

Lead a team of technical professionals in delivering exceptional vehicle service operations. Oversee the development and implementation of training programs, ensuring dealership technicians meet manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive technical training sessions for Foton dealerships, focusing on diagnostics, NEV systems, and ongoing education.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and internal teams to develop and update training content, assessments, and hands-on modules aligned with global standards.
  • Provide expert technical support, coaching, and mentoring to technicians, including issue diagnosis and resolution.
  • Monitor and analyze technical trends, implementing targeted training interventions to address recurring faults.
  • Support product updates, recalls, and service campaigns by working closely with OEMs and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage technical support operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
About You:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a senior technician or technical trainer in light commercial vehicles, preferably with EV/hybrid knowledge.
  • Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to drive change and achieve results in dynamic environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel nationally and internationally.
