Your Opportunity:

Candidates with relevant experience are invited to apply for Senior Electrical Engineer positions on our APLNG project. These roles involve working on-site in Brisbane, with an 18 days on/10 days off roster.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and terminating low-voltage cables at gas gathering wellsites, encompassing micro turbines, CD power units, telemetry systems, Wimax, LTE, wellhead electrical skids, and wellhead instruments.
  • Maintaining compliance with hazardous area installation standards.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation of site build quality on the client's electronic construction and completions systems (CCMS), including FICs, ITRs, As-builts reports, and punch lists.

Requirements:

  • EEHA Certification within the last two years for testing, visual, close, and detailed inspection of HA equipment, rectification, installation, and maintenance.
  • A QLD Electrical trade qualification, LV rescue, and CPR qualifications.
  • No less than five years post-trade experience on large-scale Oil & Gas projects.
  • A current QLD Driver's license.
  • An understanding and demonstrated commitment to OH&S, risk management, and hazard identification.

Candidates with expertise in High Voltage Cable, Transformer, and RMU VLF testing, as well as High Voltage Switching Operator qualification (HVSO), will be highly regarded.
