Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our shipping operations and export hub. This role requires strategic planning, logistics management, and operational excellence across our distribution network.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance shipping efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize shipping processes and reduce costs
  • Manage relationships with carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) and negotiate service agreements
  • Oversee daily hub operations, including staffing, workflow optimization, and quality control
  • Monitor compliance with international shipping regulations and export requirements
  • Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to meet KPIs
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and drive process improvements
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for shipping operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within the export Sea and Air industry
  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
