We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and gain hands-on experience in key areas of inventory management, forecasting, demand planning, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager in all aspects of inventory management, demand forecasting, and MRP calculations.
  • Coordinate monthly review meetings with central logistics teams.
  • Facilitate the MRP process for direct materials on a monthly basis.
  • Engage in supplier development and negotiations.
  • Achieve cost savings through contributions to supply chain processes.
  • Procure goods and services in support of Production, Service, and Engineering departments.
  • Obtain quotes consistent with approved supplier lists.
  • Expedite deliveries to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain data accuracy with purchasing records, pricing, etc.
  • Generate reports tracking key performance indicators.

Qualifications include confidence, clear communication skills, an interest in long-term career growth in logistics and supply chain management, and relevant experience in supply chain operations.

Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software.
