Chief Information Security Officer

We are seeking a seasoned Information Security Manager to spearhead our organization's information security operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily information security operations, ensuring alignment with industry frameworks
  • Maintain and enhance controls to safeguard our organization's digital assets
  • Provide strategic security leadership and assurance across enterprise projects
  • Manage incident response activities and coordinate escalation, resolution, and reporting
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of third-party vendors and suppliers
  • Promote security awareness and governance practices within the organization
  • Liaise closely with stakeholders from Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Executive teams
  • Develop and present regular security reports to senior leaders and governance forums
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in information security, preferably in regulated or financial services environments
  • Strong knowledge of industry frameworks: NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Essential Eight
  • Proven track record of managing operational security functions and contributing to strategic projects
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as APRA CPS 234 or similar
  • Demonstrated capability in incident management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement

Candidates with experience supporting large-scale system or cloud transformation initiatives, knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and technologies, and relevant industry certifications will be highly regarded.
