Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee production with an emphasis on ensuring appropriate resources are allocated to each project.
  • Create detailed plans and schedules, incorporating visual aids such as bar charts, procedures, and diagrams.
  • Utilize specialized fabrication and planning software, including Primavera, to establish project timelines.
  • Develop logistics plans and progress schedules for various projects.
  • Track project progress throughout the fabrication phase.
  • Evaluate progress against client programs and uphold contract deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients and subcontractors as necessary.
  • Maintain historical data for all projects.
  • Select suitable techniques, sequences, and equipment for each project.
  • Analyze fabrication methods and systems with a focus on continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Adhere to company standards for Quality Assurance.
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
About You
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in structural, mechanical, civil engineering, or construction management.
  • Demonstrate proficient skills and knowledge in Primavera 6.
  • Have prior experience in a heavy construction planning role.
  • Possess previous project experience in Construction Projects, ideally within the mining or oil and gas sectors.
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
