CBGU JV is proud to be working on Queensland's largest infrastructure project, Cross River Rail. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering this iconic project, which will revolutionize the way Queenslanders travel.

About the Project

Cross River Rail is a 10.2-kilometer rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, featuring 5.9 kilometers of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project includes the construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road, and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.

Your Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site engineering support to assist in the delivery of successful project outcomes for a large-scale underground station site. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
  • Managing work conducted on site by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Implementing prompt and safe corrective action on site if required.
  • Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Experience in coordinating subcontractors, preferably in a large-scale building or infrastructure project environment.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria.
  • Experience in overseeing subcontractor safety, quality, and progress to achieve desired project outcomes.
