**Job Opportunity: Coordinator Early Years Partnerships Role Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our Early Years Department as a Coordinator, focusing on supporting Early Years Service Providers within the municipality. As the successful applicant, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a new team responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education to children within Knox.

This key position provides leadership and oversight to the Early Years Partnership Team, ensuring effective partnerships with early education and care service providers and stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with early education and care service providers and stakeholders
  • Providing expert advice and coordinating planning of kindergarten service delivery with relevant stakeholders
  • Leading and overseeing the Early Years Partnership Team, driving support functions and services
  • Ensuring the provision of quality early childhood education for children within Knox municipality

**Key Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Proven knowledge of early education and care service delivery, regulations, frameworks, funding, and policy agendas
  • Specialist knowledge and understanding of current issues affecting children and their families, with demonstrated experience of the early years' service system and operational issues in a local government context
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and relationship building with various stakeholder groups
  • Experience in delivering customer-focused services, aligning with strategic objectives
  • Procurement and project management experience, demonstrating ability to deliver objectives on time and within budget
  • Excellent written communication skills, producing high-quality reports and delivering professional presentations
  • Ability to review and analyze systems and processes, ensuring they remain effective, efficient, and customer-focused
