The Cards Team

The Cards team at Airwallex is revolutionizing the way businesses issue credit cards and manage expenses for their employees. We solve complex challenges around data and feature complexity in credit cards and expenses, working at the intersection of our backend infrastructure and customer-facing applications.

Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to help define and implement our team's technical strategy. As a key member of the Cards team, you'll deliver complex frontend features with React and TypeScript, build micro FE web applications, and work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define product roadmaps and prioritize projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and high-performance frontend solutions using React and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with the design team to build a design system with common components
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define product roadmaps and prioritize projects
  • Actively engage with our Frontend Guild to research cutting-edge technologies and drive initiatives to build high-quality products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for operational excellence and a delightful user experience
Requirements
  • Mastery of modern frontend web technologies
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with a track record of product thinking
  • Strong aptitude for system thinking, writing high-quality code, and documentation
  • Demonstrated history of using a wide range of appropriate testing practices
