Job Title: Excellence and Risk Management Specialist

This role is a key opportunity to take on a leadership position in a high-profile project, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

The successful applicant will work closely with the project team to monitor, evaluate and document safety and training processes, ensuring proactive implementation of industry best practices across the region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving HSEQ excellence through the development and implementation of business systems and strategies.
  • Providing guidance and support to employees on aspects of business safety, environmental and quality compliance, and ensuring ongoing improvement.
  • Leading governance and risk management initiatives that address associated risks on the project/region.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Diploma of HSE Auditing and/or Lead Safety Auditing Qualification.
  • Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment.
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator training.
  • ICAM lead investigators training.
  • Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing.
  • Current first aid/CPR training.
  • At least 4 years of relevant industry safety experience.
  • Ability to coordinate HSE personnel on multiple small size or projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work productively and cooperatively in teams and independently as required.
