About the Role

The Manager Community Infrastructure is responsible for operational management, leadership and service delivery associated with residential housing and community infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility, customer service and sustainable development.
  • Owning and refining the Housing Strategy and Memorandum of Understanding with customers.
  • Executing high performance in housing strategy implementation, including allocation, operations, maintenance, asset lifecycle management, refurbishment and capital projects.
  • Managing a contractor workforce conducting maintenance across the portfolio.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory obligations and Australian standards, including adherence to the Residential Tenancies Act.
  • Working with internal and external customers to identify and deliver business critical community infrastructure.
  • Contributing to infrastructure design, development and operational readiness for new and renewed assets.
  • Managing Opex and Capex budgets for defined areas of responsibility.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree qualification and/or related experience in fields like infrastructure, maintenance, services or construction. You will also possess strong commercial acumen and contract management skills to support critical regional infrastructure delivery.

You will bring a significant understanding of maintenance, facilities and asset management, construction or real estate, and demonstrated experience managing a large portfolio of geographically dispersed support and infrastructure services assets.
