About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to undertake a variety of complex tasks related to the Maritime Sustainment Divisions (MSD) Work Health and Safety Environmental (WHSE) program.

Under the direction of the program lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the MSD Work Health Safety Environment Plan and Supplier Safety and Environmental Assurance program.
  • Monitoring internal safety compliance and assurance metrics, including the collation, analysis, and identification of trends in WHS incident data.
  • Providing continual improvement of practices to mitigate risks.
  • Delivering WHSE support and advice to Business Units, agencies, and other departments.
  • Representing the Directorate of Maritime Work Health and Safety Environment as required.

This role requires strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work in an integrated workforce consisting of ADF and APS.

The successful candidate will have prior knowledge in WHS/Environmental auditing and be able to plan, undertake, and report on audit and assurance activities.
