As a Specialty Chef, you will be responsible for supporting our Chef de Cuisine, Grant Parry, in ensuring consistency in high-quality pizzas and wood-fired oven products. You will also mentor the team to drive future success and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfaction
  • Participating in menu preparation and development
  • Creating training plans and supporting daily learning
  • Leading shift briefings to ensure a smooth handover

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Confidence in wood-fired pizza preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Previous experience in a high-quality Italian restaurant
  • Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for diverse food and continuous learning
  • Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Knowledge of food and labor cost controls
  • A warm, engaging personality with a passion for delivering exceptional products
  • Basic computer skills
  • Full working rights to commit to 40 hours a week, including day shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
