About the Graphic Design Role

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to contribute to creative graphic concepts and solutions that enhance visitor experiences across exhibitions and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our Design team to develop engaging and ambitious graphic design ideas.
  • Present and discuss design concepts confidently in meetings and presentations.
  • Coordinate exhibition environmental graphics, labels, didactic texts, wayfinding signage, illustrative, and information graphic materials.
  • Liaise with external contractors on all aspects of exhibition graphic design, production, coordination, scheduling, installation, project, and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Approved degree or diploma in Graphic Design or an allied field.
  • Experience in a design environment.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, design, plan, and produce displays and associated graphic material within a museum or similar environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in wayfinding, branding, and product design.
  • Skills with current digital design practices.
  • Knowledge of technical and relevant innovations relating to graphic production and visual arts practice.
