Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of legislation, policy, and procedures related to Aboriginal cultural heritage management.
  • Provide sound advice on processes and programs within Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania.
  • Research, analyze, and assess proposals related to the management and conservation of Aboriginal cultural heritage values.
  • Liaise with other branches, divisions, and external parties regarding policy issues.
  • Represent the Department with interest groups and stakeholders.
  • Manage projects, coordinate project teams, and supervise staff as required.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • A current motor vehicle driver's license.
  • Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
