About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Occupational Therapist at Mt Wilga Private Hospital, a dedicated 112-room rehabilitation hospital and day therapy centre. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work across two varied caseloads, providing OT services within the NDIS Team and the Day Program/Admitted Services Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and provide therapeutic interventions within the NDIS framework, including AT trials and documentation, minor home modifications, SIL assessments, and SDA assessments and reports.
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Dietetics, and Social Work.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for patients with varying levels of ability.
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Current Registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
  • Current unrestricted Drivers Licence.
  • Completion of online 'NDIS Worker Orientation Module' (or willingness to complete).
  • Current 'NDIS Worker Screening Check' (or willingness to obtain).
