About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Manager to join our New Energy team at UGL. As a Senior Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the preparation of tender and proposal submissions for allocated projects and managing the process between opportunity pursuit and contract award.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate winning strategy development for bids and offers.
  • Develop and coordinate a Bid Team to ensure the tender and proposal is submitted on time.
  • Review tender documentation ensuring a full and complete understanding of the technical and commercial commitment.
  • Conduct risk assessment and management activities to evaluate all risks associated with the tender.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations on the progress of the tender and proposal.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the customer and all stakeholders to ensure the tender and submission are accurate and viable.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Project Management, Commerce).
  • Significant experience in bidding and business development.
  • Extensive experience in tendering and coordinating several concurrent tenders, ideally from Renewables (BESS/Solar/Wind) and/or Utilities industries.
  • Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
