Ultrasound Specialist VIC Position Overview

Job Description

The Victorian Ultrasound Applications Specialist role entails providing technical and clinical support during the sales process primarily within VIC, focusing on supporting the General Imaging segment.

This position is responsible for delivering formal pre-sale product demonstrations (clinical trial support) and post-sale installation, training, and ongoing customer support across our LOGIQ platform.

  • Provide technical leadership during sales processes by demonstrating full product features and capabilities to customers as needed.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver product training to customers on software, application, and/or equipment use, ensuring seamless customer satisfaction and maintaining relationships.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through continuing education on optimizing equipment utilization by customers.
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences with product demonstrations and promotion, along with customer training.
  • Use market knowledge to assist the sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer service strategies.
  • Produce well-written reports on customer feedback and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Accredited Sonographer with active clinical/technical certifications necessary for scanning live patients in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated current basic clinical scanning proficiencies on current products/platforms.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical/technical experience following certification or at least 2 years of commercial applications/modality experience with demonstrated successes in high-level customer interactions and sales scenarios.
  • Proficiency in computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within your specified region and attend nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows.

  • Bachelor's degree in Ultrasound or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with peers and management.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with external customers and global counterparts.
  • Solid problem-solving skills to manage conflicts and propose solutions.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable individual with excellent business acumen.
